i've documented every single year of jays home/road/alt jerseys from 1977 to present and have never seen a jersey like this one.
namely, this particular style of "blue jays" script on the front never appeared on any home pullovers. it first appeared on wilson jays' jerseys in 1990 and by then they were using buttondowns and not pullovers.
from 1977-1988, the jays home jerseys were white pullovers supplied solely by wilson. in all of these years, wilson used a font for the front "blue jays" script that had noticeably square edges. (see image below. notice the edges on the "U" and "J"). conversely, when rawlings supplied their road blue pullovers from 1979-1984 they used a "blue jays" script with noticeably rounded edges. wilson finally adopted this "soft-edge/rawlings style" font in 1990. by 1989 however, the jays had abandoned pullovers and moved to using buttondowns. (their first year of buttondowns in 1989 had the "square-edged" font).
