Since the jersey comes with a LOA from the Nitschke family, I guess its OK. I just never realized the Packers got their jerseys from a company in Dallas, Texas.
I'd have to check with Troy at MEARS, but I learned when I worked there that there was a 4 or 5 year period in the early/mid 1960s when the Pack was supplied with uniforms by Red Fox. I believe the WFL Chicago Wind, for their abbreviated season, wore Red Fox unis, as well.

Dave - good stuff. I wonder if the Packers used other distributors as well?
