Bengals experts- nameplates

Hey everyone

There are currently 3 2005 Bengals jerseys in auctions- 2 in historic auctions and 1 in grey flannel auctions.
The items are the three biggest stars on the team- Carson Palmer, Rudi Johnson, Chad Johnson
There seem to be differences in the nameplate font and placement between the Palmer and the others. Are there any Bengals experts out there who have seen this kind of thing before?

Eric, I am not a Bengals expert by any means but handling and seeing Bengals jerseys within the last three years here is my insight. First of all I would never touch a Carson Palmer post 2004 that the tail is not custom cut and shortened (no elastic). I have never seen a good Palmer with a jock tag (this would go for Chad Johnson as well). Second, regarding the nameplate I would like to see less orange dazzle above the nameplate. Just my insight.

The Carson Palmer is up to $6300.

James Brown who often mentions his pride in the level of customer service offered by his company has not answered my questions about this and many other NFL star jerseys in their auction.

Is the nameplate from the Palmer sold at Historic auctions from a retail jersey like the one below?
