Considering adding a Favre gamer to your collection? Well, resist any temptation to bid on this item currently offered by Historic Auctions. This jersey has smooth, thin elasticized sleeves, a variety Favre has never worn (he did sport wider ribbed elasticized cuffs during the '94-'95 seasons).
After '95, Favre has worn open "quarterback cut" sleeves, as shown in this game photo from 1998 (the year the Historic Auctions jersey is purportedly from):
In addition, this jersey has 1999-2000 Nike tail tagging; inconsistent with the 1998 cowl swatch (which also indicates the incorrect size for a Favre jersey of this vintage).
I expressed my concerns about this jersey to them via email well over a week ago and have not received a reply.
