I believe during this time the alternates were worn on a very limited basis. Unlike now when they wear them for most home day games, I believe these were only worn on Sunday, daytime, home games. Some other Reds collectors may be able to hop in with more info, but that would be another factor of why little use is shown.

Looks good to me also, thanks for the input. I was just wondering that maybe it was issued? I couldn't find evidence (again, just a Getty search and Google image search) of the Reds wearing the alternates while Todd was with the team.

Here is a Rockies size 48 granted it would be from early 2000

Since Todd's contract was purchased by the Reds from Cleveland on August 9th and Todd was released October 31st it would narrow it down to that small time frame of a possible 34 games or so.

Price aside, any comments about this jersey? On his other teams, I've only seen size 50 jerseys, usually with an extra tag for length (maybe even an issued 52?). Besides the sizing, I can't tell if they ever wore the red alts while he played for them. I tried Getty Images and a genera image search, but only saw home and away jerseys.
