I think the $25 final price probably reflects most collectors thoughts on them—so, that would be no. They're the model that a few of the Reebok players wore, so at least that part is authentic.

The seller's origin story of Ortiz's nickname to go along with why the shoes were embroidered with "Big Papa" instead of "Big Papi" (or one of his spanish language nicknames) is also incorrect.

They're not david ortiz cleats by a long shot. However they are early jose valverde cleats. The seller is not the brightest bulb in the box but the cleats are valverde gamers.
