    Why to always check hologram number on MLB Auctions

    Just when you thought MLB Auctions was safe think again. The following listing is for some Rickie Weeks batting gloves. There is nothing that ties them to Rickie on the gloves(no number 23). Even more concerning is for me the authentication numbers come up not existing. I contacted customer service and they said they would get back to me...6 days later and no reply.

    http://auctions.mlb.com/iSynApp/auct...t1=brewers&&qt[0].type=openbrac&qt[1].type=openbrac&qt[2].type=fieldmatch&qt[2].name=panname_partnername_s&qt[2].value1=mlb&qt[3].type=operor&qt[4].type=fieldmatch&qt[4].name=panname_partnername_s&qt[4].value1=team&qt[5].type=closebrac&qt[6].type=operand&qt[7].type=fieldmatch&qt[7].name=panname_teamname_s&qt[7].value1=brewers&qt[8].type=closebrac

    I actually am not even sure they were truly Rickie's gloves. He has always worn Franklin batting gloves and these so happen to be the exact same style/look Corey Hart used.

    Dont blindly bid without checking everything out on the item guys.

    Figured the link wouldn't work...I am sure everyone can find the listing anyway.
