Re: Larry Walker bat on eBay from ZaneBats
Zane's a good guy, however him starting the listing at $10 is all you need to know (on how comfortable he felt about the bat).

No doubt, ive ne er seen a walker without 33, he was pretty religious at marking it. I actually own a spike owen expos bat that i bought for peanuts and low and behold....33 on knob....young larryLeave a comment:

And, before this gets rehashed... I doubt Walker would give a used bat to Neagle, and, even if he did, the bat would have some evidence of "3" or "33" being on the bat, since the number three is Larry Walker's lucky number.Leave a comment:

Larry walker also bats left. So the lefty marks wouldnt come into play.Leave a comment:

I've seen it done both ways. I think it depends on which person/park collected the broken bat.Leave a comment:

Just an FYI, this bat was actually used by Juan Rivera according to the MLB website. I sent an email, and they said that the description would be changed.

I've never in my life seen an MLB hologram sticker on a bat's knob - anyplace other than the barrel.Leave a comment:

Re: Larry Walker bat on eBay from ZaneBats
When I read this stuff, I just have to laugh. Shoulda? Coulda? Woulda? Maybe? It's possible? So sick of sellers (referring this to any and all sellers who do it) wording auctions that are general, but imply things that makes collectors believe other things. So sick of it! Stick to the facts! Assumptions are just that!
I've noticed in the past that if it has the wrong # on the ends, he will just say the # present with a photo. If it matches the player, then he'll say "his #15 on knob"
Anyways, I get it, but everyone needs to do their own hw across the board, no matter who the seller isLeave a comment:

Probably. But that's not how he does his auctions. Very general descriptions.Leave a comment:

Nate, removing egos from this, do you think that Zane is right in not posting that the bat was likely used by Neagle? Also, Walker was very particular about putting the "3" on his bats, since that was his lucky number.Leave a comment:
