This is a team issue mariners jersey with ball girl 96 on back...anyone know if the ball girls were issues these? It's a size 44

Cool, the only pics I've seen online had them wearing crappy Girly versions but I'm thinking in 96 they may have worn these...which would make it pretty cool game worn item I know the moose wore 96 as well for years so maybe they matched the moose.

I have seen a couple of these in gray sold at the team store a few years back for 100.00 each during the storage locker sale.

Did they ever wear these as Sunday gamers maybe? I've seen pics of ball girls in teal but maybe they are from when they brought it back as a Sunday home uni...this ones old so it would have to have been worn circa 90s

In any case at least it's a rare green Russell, I won't but I could always just remove the name plate and presto! A team issue blank. I like it much better with what's on it though, if its legit its mariners history

I don't see any reason why it WOULDN'T be real. The size is smaller for a man, but spot on for a female, the tagging is pro-style, and the 96 on the back likely translates to it being worn in 1996. The White Sox did the same thing with their batboys in much of the 1990s and early 2000s.
