    Dr.J from Taiwan😣

    Hi,

just shaking my head about that:

    http://http://m.ebay.com/itm/DR-J-JU....c100408.m2460

Who in this world has such a lack of basic knowledge and spends so much money at the same time?
And Alan Meza is expert for what?! What kind of LOA is this? And what language?

    Dr.J from Taiwan😣

    Hi,

just shaking my head about that one:

Who in this world has such lack of basic knowledge about NBA jerseys and spends so much money at the same time?
There is absolutely nothing right with this jersey (font, arch, logo-man, neckline).
And what kind of expert is Alan Meza?! This is arguably the most ridiculous LOA ever! Look at the picture on it. And it is not even English.
    Man that almost hurts...

    Greetings, Alex

Alan meza's grammar sounds very poor, as if maybe he's from taiwan trying to write in english.....but i've decided to bute the bullet and go for it, cause he's a game used jersey expert and the seller believes in honesty. Im not having jt shipped yet, i want to take advantage of their multiple listings discount.

        In the 1984-85 season:

The 76ers wore Wilson, not Sand-Knit.

The NBA logo was not yet used on jerseys (it was added in 1986-87).

The large Sand-Knit tag design didn't appear until 1987-88.

I can't believe Mesa approved this piece. Something smells fishy here.

Yeah, he definitely exists...I used to talk to him on the phone in the early/mid 1990s. I have suspicions about the legitimacy of that LOA, as well...I have trouble believing Meza would miss that many flaws on one jersey.

I exchanged emails with a prominent NBA superstar collector, and he is in agreement with me that the LOA is likely a fake (as is the jersey), and that Meza did not issue the LOA himself.
