GFC is set to auction of a 1988 michael jordan "game used jersey" in their upcoming auction. here they show a preview of it:

a part of the description reads: "..The jersey and shorts show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind."
when i saw the images, i noticed something odd. there was a noticeable amount of yellowish residue above the "jordan" nob. at some point, someone stripped off the nob and lowered it. the residue is from where it previously was. i'm unsure if this was done by the team, the manufacturer, or someone else. i'm bringing this to light because i think it'd be important for any potential buyers to know that the nob has been altered and the gfc description makes no mention of it.
the residue is a little difficult to see in the original images. by simply altering the color balance, i was able to show the remnants of the residue/previous nob more clearly:
