There actually is no holdup. We are in the process of preparing everything for the site. The auction closes on October 25th and we felt starting it around the end of this month would be the appropriate timing.

That list is pretty exciting, there are some that weren't in the preview. I understand with waiting, but I think having it up for 2 months would have been fine. Either way, looking forward to it starting.

When exactly does the auction start? It's been Sept 30th here on the East Coast for over 10 hours. There's only 14 hours left in the day. Maybe the auctions start October 1st?

Hello Everyone,

While we planned to have the auction live this morning, our developers are completing some final preparations to have the system ready. Please bear with us as this is brand-new custom built software and we are taking every step necessary to make sure everything functions exactly according to specifications.

As such, we are planning to take the auction live in the wee hours of the morning, October 1st. For all intents and purposes, I would plan on viewing the items tomorrow morning. In addition, there will be a two day 'preview' period before the system will allow bids. While everything is working great on our test servers, this will be done to make sure the new software's bidding functionality works perfectly on the live servers before opening up the bidding.

We appreciate everyone's understanding as we roll out our custom-built, user-friendly software that will give access to information on auction items on levels never done before. Once again, the auction should be live by tomorrow where you will have a two day window to 'preview' all the items and begin bidding on October 3rd. Once again, the auction will close on October 25th so you will have more than three weeks to place your bids. Again, thanks for your understanding and we are confident you will enjoy the new auction format we are creating.
