1987 Harold Baines Chicago White Sox Game Worn Home Jersey

Harold was a great player during his career and will garner serious consideration in future Hall of Fame voting. He finished his career with 2,866 hits, 384 home runs and 1,628 RBIs. His 1,652 games as a designated hitter are a major league record, and he holds several hitting records among DHs. His career RBI total is 23rd all-time; his hit total ranks 37th all-time. Baines has both the most career hits and most career RBI of any eligible player not in the Hall of Fame.
This white Chicago White Sox jersey was worn by Harold Baines (retired number 3). Tagged on the inside tail with a Rawlings wash/size tag (42), a size/year tag (Set 1, 1987), and a "87 Baines" embroidered strip tag. This jersey exhibits tremendous evidence of game use, including almost complete discoloration from sweat, extensive sun fading throughout, puckering on the White Sox logo and number, and repaired/reinforced buttons. This jersey is the epitome of game use. Signed on the front in blue by Baines. If you are a White Sox collector and have been holding out for a nice Baines jersey, look no further. This jersey earned more comments at the our 2007 Sportsfest booth than any other item we had on display. Consigned by Rob Steinmetz. View Lot Detail page
