Eddie Brown was selected in the first round of the 1985 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. Brown, a consensus first-time All-American at the University of Miami, Florida was the second wide receiver taken in the draft, three picks ahead of Jerry Rice. Brown had a solid career with the Bengals which included an NFL Rookie of the Year Award in 1985, a Pro Bowl appearance in 1988 and a trip to Super Bowl XXIII.

Sewn between the shoulders and sleeves are orange mesh quadrants of like material with screened on Bengals shoulder stripes. Sewn on the front, below the number, is an insulated hand warmer pouch. The jersey tail is custom cut and shortened. There is a nameplate change on back.
