Ivan Rodriguez 2002 Signed Mizuno Game Used HR # 198 Bat

Iván Rodriguez is considered by many to be the greatest defensive catcher ever. He won the World Series with the Florida Marlins in 2003, and again reached the World Series as the starting catcher for the 2006 Detroit Tigers. He already has over 2,400 hits, 280 hone runs and 1,100 RBIs while posting a .300 average in his career. He has won 12 gold gloves and been named to 15 All Star teams. In 1999 he won the AL Most Valuable Player Award.
This uncracked, black-finished Mizuno model N10 is specifically dated to the 2002 season and was used on June 26, 2002 when, as a Texas Ranger, Rodriguez hit his 198th career home run off of Ramon Ortiz of the Anaheim Angels. Pudge has signed and inscribed this bat in silver marker as follows:
    "Ivan Rodriguez #7 HR 198 6-26-02"
The writing is clear and legible, with no smearing or running. Rodriguez' uniform number, 7, also appears on both the barrel end and the knob of this bat in silver marker. Overall, the bat shows tremendous use, with ball marks, hit marks, rack marks, and cleat marks on the barrel, and a moderate application of pine tar approximately 3 inches from the knob and extending inches.
This is a rare opportunity to obtain a highly displayable autographed home run bat from a superstar player who is a sure Hall of Famer. A LOA from PSA/DNA (V. Malta / J. Taube) for Grey Flannel accompanies this bat. View Lot Detail page
