2001 Jason Schmidt San Francisco Giants Game Worn Alternate Jersey

Schmidt has played for the Giants, Pirates, Braves and Dodgers since 1995. He helped the Braves win a World Championship while he was there in 1995. In 2003 with the Gaints, he won 17 games, but his team lost once in the playoffs to the Florida Marlins. Jason was an All-Star this year as well as the league leader with a 2.34 earned run average. Now with the Dodgers, they will be relying on him over the next few years to help them bring a pennant back to Los Angeles.
This black alternate San Francisco Giants jersey was worn by Jason Schmidt during the 2001 baseball season. Tagged on the tail with a Russell Athletic wash tag, a size 50/100% polyester flag tag and a 2" extra length flag tag. The Russell tag is also stamped with a "Purchased from the San Francisco Giants" stamp. The United States flag patch is sewn on the back collar, to commemorate the tragedies of 9/11/01. The Giants team patch is sewn on the left sleeve, above the embroidered Russell logo. The name "Schmidt" is sewn on the back of the jersey on a nameplate. This jersey exhibits light evidence of game use. View Lot Detail page
