This jersey was worn by former Cincinnati Bengal quarterback Turk Schonert. Schonert, a graduate of Stanford University, played eight or his nine NFL seasons with Cincinnati and was on the Bengal teams that went to Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XXIII, losing both times to the San Francisco 49ers.
This jersey shows good use. On the front, back, and both sleeves is the player number '15' screened on in white on orange. On the back, above the number, screened on a black nameplate in white letters is "SCHONERT". The jersey body, shoulders and sleeves are made of black nylon mesh. Sewn between the shoulders and sleeves are orange mesh quadrants of like material with screened on Bengals shoulder stripes. Sewn on the front tail is the "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" size 44 tag with wash instructions. Sewn on front below the number is an insulated hand warmer pouch. There is a nameplate change on back.
