1996 Frank Thomas Chicago White Sox Game Worn Alternate Jersey

Thomas became one of baseball's biggest stars in the 1990s, playing for the Chicago White Sox. He was given the nickname "The Big Hurt" by broadcaster Ken Harrelson. He is known for his keen eye and immense power. On June 28, 2007, Frank Thomas hit the 500th home run of his career, becoming the 21st player in the history of Major League Baseball to do so. He carries a career .316 average along with all those home runs and is destined for Cooperstown, at the end of his career.
This black alternate Chicago White Sox jersey was worn by Frank Thomas during the 1996 baseball season. Tagged on the tail with a paper fiber "35-50-96" tag, a Russell Athletic Diamond Collection size 50 wash tag and a 100% polyester flag tag. This jersey has the White Sox team patch on the left sleeve and the embroidered Russell logo on the right sleeve. This jersey exhibits moderate evidence of game use, primarily in the form of wash wear (puckering of the logo, numbers and name from repeated laundering). Awesome jersey from one of the newest members of the 500-home run club. View Lot Detail page
