Olmedo Saenz 2007 Game Used Bat

Olmedo Saenz has been one of the Dodgers' most consistent players coming off the bench and is well known as being a dead fastball hitter. He rarely plays in the field anymore, making only an occasional start at either first or third base – but he still is feared when he comes to the plate. He played for Panama in the inaugural World Baseball Classic in 2006 and had two hits and an RBI in three games. He has posted a .263 batting average over his nine-year career with the White Sox, A's, and Dodgers.
This black gamer was manufactured by Rawlings in 2007 and used by Saenz until broken. Characteristic Rawlings stamping appears on the knob, including model (456B), batch code (161 – ? difficult to read due to silver marker), and year code (07.) This bat is 34½ inches in length and weighs approximately 31 ounces. Ball marks and hit marks are in evidence on the bottom of the barrel, and there is a non-displaced crack on the handle approximately 10 inches from the knob that extends to the Rawlings color ring. Saenz' uniform number, 8, is written on both the knob and the barrel end in silver marker. Despite the slight crack, this bat displays nicely and is an excellent addition to the collection of either a Saenz collector or Dodger fan.
This bat is sourced from Steiner Sports #08927, and bears both the Steiner and the MLB holograms.
