Greg transferred to U.M. from Notre Dame in 2003 A shoulder injury that year, redshirted him. He became the starter in 2005, his sophomore season, after Kevin Everett was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. His career stats include 85 receptions for 1170 yards (13.8 yards per carry) and 6 touchdowns. His speed, coupled with his ability to make "impossible" receptions and come away with the ball with defenders draped all over him, make him the top tight end prospect in the NFL draft, almost assuring him a 1st round pick.
