What can you say about the Yankee Captain? He is a winner for sure. Jeter has spent his entire career with the New York Yankees, starting in 1995 when he was 20 years old. He has won the American League Rookie of the Year Award, the All-Star Game MVP Award, the World Series MVP Award, a Silver Slugger Award, and three Gold Glove Awards. He has been in the top seven in the American League in both hits and runs scored for nine of the past ten years. During the 2000s he ranks second in the major leagues in hits (1,504), fourth in runs (857), and tied for seventh in batting average (.317) as of July 28, 2007.

Re: 2007 Derek Jeter #2 New York Yankees Used Clubhouse Chair (Steiner)

How is this Jeter chair differentiated from any other player's chair? Is there a #2 printed on the chair or Jeter's name printed on the chair? Or is the Steiner letter and hologram the only way to identify the chair as being used by Jeter?

        Hello Jimmie,

In order to identify the items, the protocol used in this instance was to adhere masking tape with the player's name (hand-written and applied by Yankee personnel) to the chair. With this item, the name "Jeter" has been applied by Yankee personnel. In addition, the chair comes with an MLB hologram (# BB 666854).

Please feel free to let us now if that answers your question as well as if you have any others.

        Sincerely,
        Chris
