1996/97 Scottie Pippen Bulls Autographed Game Used Road Uniform (CharitaBulls LOA)

With the fact that his long-time teammate Michael Jordan may have been the greatest player ever to grace the hardwood, is sometimes forgotten just how pivotal a part Scottie Pippen was the Chicago Bulls dominance during the Jordan years. In fact, Chicago sportswriter Sam Smith made the following comment on ESPN.com "Pippen was the ultimate supporting player, the perfect complement". While Pippen's career averages were not awe-inspiring, he was a two time gold medal Olympian with the Dream Team in 1992 and 1996, and eight-time member of the NBA All-Defensive First Team (1992-1999) and the 1994 NBA All-Star MVP.
What might be even more inspiring is how few would have envisioned Pippen achieving what he did as a professional athlete. Pippen was one of twelve children who grew up in tiny Hamburg, Arkansas. After high school, Pippen enrolled at a small NAIA school, the University of Central Arkansas, as a non-scholarship player. In his freshman year he received financial aid for being a team manager. To pay for the rest of his education, Pippen worked in the summers as a welder attached the arms of school desks to their legs, a job that left Pippen with scars on his own arms. It is a truly great story behind one of the NBA's great players.
Across the front of this uniform's jersey is team name "BULLS". Below and on the back is Pippen's player number "33". On the back, above the number, is "PIPPEN". All numbers and letters are sewn in black on white tackle twill. Sewn on the left breast is the gold anniversary NBA embroidered logo. Sewn on the left front tail is the Chicago Bulls 1996-97 exclusive tag with +4 body length. Adjacent to the tag is the "Champion" athletic size 48 tag with wash instructions. Inside left tail is the 100% nylon material tag. Pippen autographed the jersey in silver on the back left black number.
As for the pants, inside the waist is the Chicago Bulls exclusive tag with alterations. Adjacent is the "Champion" athletic size 42 tag with wash instructions. On right pant leg is the gold anniversary NBA embroidered logo. Pippen autographed the pants in black on the left leg.
