Gerald Riggs 1985-86 Atlanta Falcons Game Worn Jersey with TREMENDOUS USE

Gerald Riggs finished his ten-year NFL career with 8,188 yards, 69 TD's and 3 Pro Bowl appearances. The first round draft pick running back out of ASU put together three incredible seasons from '84-'86 when he rushed for 1,486, 1,719 and 1,327 yards while racking up 32 TD's in the process.

This jersey depicts his hard running style. The road white mesh has a creamed hue, due to aging, and there are numerous repairs to the back and shoulders, with on large repair just under the nameplate. The numeric identifiers, striping and Falcon sleeve logos are screened on while the NOB, "R-I-G-G-S," in single-color black is sewn onto a mesh plate. The collar trim is a rich five-stripe/three-color stretch knit. The lower left front tail sports a size 46 Russell Athletic label with the 100% Nylon flag tag below. Of note, the nameplate is made of double ply white mesh. Overall, a quality representation with great wear of one of the decade's premier backs. Riggs has autographed the verso #4. Falcons' jerseys from this decade carry a heavy premium and this may be the best Riggs gamer to hit the market.View Lot Detail page
