Joe Torre 2002 Pinstripe NY Yankees Game Worn Jersey (Steiner LOA)

Joe Torre is the current manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and a former Major League Baseball player. He previously played for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves, New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals. He later managed all three teams, as well as the New York Yankees.

Notably, it was during Torre's tenure as manager of the Yankees that he is most recognized. In the years he managed the Yankees, from 1996 to 2007, the Bronx Bombers went to the post-season each year and won ten American League East Division titles, six American League pennants, and four World Series titles, in addition to compiling a .605 winning percentage with them.

Torre presently ranks 7th on Major League Baseball's all-time managerial win list and has led the Dodgers to the postseason in his first year at the helm in Los Angeles.

This white pinstripe New York Yankees jersey was worn by Joe Torre during the 2002 season. It is tagged on the lower left tail with a Russell Athletic tag with the size "48" and "1 inch EXTRA LENGTH" flag tags sewn below. The numbers and logo are sewn in midnight navy blue tackle twill.

The jersey is accompanied by a LOA from Yankees/Steiner Collectibles.View Lot Detail page
