Tome Seaver is a Hall of Fame (1992) pitcher for the New York Mets. He is a 12 time All-Star, 3 time Cy Young Award winner, 1967 rook of the Year. In his career he has won 311 games, had 3,640 strikeouts and pitched one no-hitter. He was the mainstay of the 1969 "Miracle Mets" World Championship team, and later in his career he played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, and Boston Red Sox.
These road gray Boston Red Sox pants were worn by Tom Seaver during the 1986 season, his final year in the majors. They are tagged in the waistband with a Wilson size 38/wash tag, a chain-stitched "86" swatch tag, and a chain-stitched "41 25 ½" strip tag. These pants have several blacked out numbers in the waistband and inner pockets, which typically means they were passed down through the Red Sox minor league system after Seaver wore them. These pants, possibly the last pair Seaver may have worn in the majors, are accompanied by a LOA from Ball Park Heroes.
