Russell Martin 2008 LA Dodgers Game Worn Batting Helmet (Dodgers/Steiner LOA)

One of the best defensive and offensive catcher's in the league. Russell Martin established himself as an elite catcher in the 2008 season, getting voted to the All-Star game after hitting .280 with 13 HR's and 69 RBI's. Only his 3rd year in the league he is already being compared to the likes of Mike Piazza offensively.

This single flap Dodgers helmet was worn by the catcher Martin. The front has the interlocking LA while the back adorns the #55 and the MLB logo. Inside the helmet are the date code dial and a size 7 3/8 sticker. Helmet displays good use tons of scrapes and pine tar.

The item picture is not a Russell Martin helmet....the helmet reads "22" and is for a left handed batter...Martin is a righty It actually looks like a Brett Butler helmet.

Sorry guys. That was my mistake. We had the images numbers for this lot transposed with the image numbers of another lot in the auction. The helmet with the '22' belonged to Clayton Kershaw, which is lot #117 in the auction. The item description page for the Russell Martin helmet now has the appropriate images on it.

Again, sorry for the confusion and please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
