You are bidding on a complete, unopened set of 1998 Platinum NFL Hall of Fame Autograph cards. NFL Hall of Famer Ron Mix produced this set in 1998 but released it in 1999. Each card features an artist's rendering of a Hall of Fame football player. These attractive, full color 4" by 6" cards were signed by the players and issued in factory set form only. Production was limited to 2500 sets with each card hand-numbered. Of the 116 cards, two players only signed their first name -- Sid Gillman and Doak Walker. The Doak Walker signature was apparently done after his tragic skiing accident.
The complete set of cards (116) is listed in the Beckett price guide for a low price of $1,500 and a high price of $2,000. The value of the cards listed individually would be worth more. The set includes the following players:
