Matt Morris 2005 Game Worn, Signed St. Louis Cardinals Home Jersey

Matt Morris became the ace of the Cardinals' pitching staff in 2001, earning his first All-Star selection and winning 22 games with 185 strikeouts and a 3.16 ERA. In 2002, he won 17 games and made his second All-Star appearance. After several rough starts and some surgery, Morris had a revival of sorts in 2005. He started the season 8-0 with a 3.16 ERA, and was 10-2 with a 3.10 ERA at the time of the All-Star break. In fact, he was considered by many to be snubbed for the All-Star game.

This home white St. Louis Cardinals jersey was worn by Matt Morris during the 2005 season. This jersey is tagged on the tail with a Majestic tag, a size 52 flag tag, and a "2005" year flag tag. Inside, this jersey is tagged with a pro-coded "0062" wash tag. On the sleeve of this jersey is the 1966-2005 Busch Stadium Final Season patch. Morris signed the back of this jersey in black between the nameplate and his number. This jersey has added length to the sleeves, although it is not indicated through any customization tagging. This jersey exhibits moderate evidence of game use, primarily in the form of overall wash wear. 2005 Cardinals jerseys were issued to players with and without year flag tagging on the tail. From Matty Mo's final season with the Cardinals.View Lot Detail page
