Gene Tenace 1993 Game Worn Toronto Blue Jays Road World Series Jersey

Gene Tenace was a key part of the Oakland Athletics powerhouse that won 3 consecutive World Series from 1972 to 1974. He put himself in the spotlight during the 1972 World Series, going 8 for 23 with 4 home runs, to earn the World Series MVP Award. His best year with Oakland might have been in 1975, when he hit a career-high 29 home runs and started his only All-Star Game. Tenace became a coach after retiring as a player. He was part of Toronto's World Series winning teams in 1992 and 1993, giving him 6 rings in 6 World Series appearances as a player and a coach.

This road gray Toronto Blue Jays jersey was worn by Gene Tenace during the 1993 season (and World Series). It is tagged in the collar with a Wilson size/wash tag and an embroidered "18 93 1" strip tag (indicative of Tenace's number, the year and the set number of the jersey). The 1993 World Series patch is affixed to the right sleeve of this jersey. This jersey exhibits good evidence of wear, and comes with a certificate from the Toronto Blue Jays. A great jersey from the memorable '93 World Series.View Lot Detail page
