Mark DeRosa 2007 Game Worn Chicago Cubs Road Jersey (Team LOA)

Mark DeRosa was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 7th round of the June 1996 free agent draft. In his 1,643 career at bats, he has a .273 batting average with 449 career hits. DeRosa signed with the Chicago Cubs in 2006, and has been a pleasant surprise at the plate. In 2007, he appeared in 149 games for the Cubs, spending a majority of his time at second base.

This road gray Chicago Cubs jersey was worn by Mark DeRosa during the 2007 season. It is tagged on the tail with a Majestic tag and a size 46 flag tag. This jersey is also tagged in the collar with an embroidered strip tag that reads "7 46 07 S4" (indicative of DeRosa's jersey number, the size, year, and set number of the jersey). Also tagged on the inside with a pro-coded "0062" wash tag, this jersey exhibits moderate evidence of game use (including pilling in the body of the jersey).

Most importantly, this jersey comes with a letter from the Chicago Cubs and was purchased at the 2008 Cubs Convention. It was consigned to the auction by Rob Steinmetz. View Lot Detail page
