Charles Hudson 1984 Game Worn Philadelphia Phillies Road Jersey

Charles Hudson pitched in the Major Leagues primarily as a starting pitcher from 1983-1989. Hudson was drafted in 1981 by the Philadelphia Phillies, and joined the major league team as a starter in 1983. He started two games in the 1983 World Series as a rookie, gaining the loss in both starts.

This powder blue road Philadelphia Phillies jersey was worn by Charles Hudson during the 1984 season. This jersey is tagged on the tail with a Wilson size/wash tag and a chain-stitched "84 2" swatch tag. The name "Hudson" is also chain-stitched on a swatch tag in the collar. A round Phillies team patch is affixed to the left sleeve of this jersey (the team first wore this style patch in 1984). This jersey has a very early Wilson tag affixed to the tail, which is a strange anomaly (it is important to note that this tag is original to this jersey). This jersey is all original, with the exception of having a restored nameplate on the back, and exhibits good evidence of game use throughout. View Lot Detail page
