Presented here is the actual second base used in a game between the NY Yankees and Baltimore Orioles on August 15, 2007. The base is a standard Schutt Sports version (Jack Corbett, Original Hollywood) with the MLB logo imprinted on it. The side panel of the base sports the NY Yankees logo and the top of the base is caked with infield dirt from Historic Yankee Stadium. On the day, this base saw more than the usual service as the Yankees lost to Orioles in 10 innings despite scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the ninth to send it beyond into the extra frame.
The base has been signed by the great Yankee captain and future Hall-of-Famer Derek Jeter. Jeter autographed items are highly valued in the secondary market and here is your change to own one on a unique venue directly from the playing field of Yankee Stadium.
