Yankee Stadium 2007 Sign "Interfering with player or ball in play is strictly prohibited" 9" X 12" (Steiner LOA)

Doesn't every fan hope to catch a foul ball when attending a game? Sometimes it's not that simple. Just ask the guy who sat in Aisle 4, Row 8, Seat 113 at Wrigley Field on October 14, 2003 during Game 6 of the National League Championship Series. While Steve Bartman did what his instincts told him to do, Cubs fans wish a sign like this would have been posted right in front of his seat.

This 9" x 12" sign was used at historic Yankee Stadium to remind fans that "INTERFERING WITH PLAYER OR BALL IN PLAY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED".

As an interesting side note, Moises Alou, now with the New York Mets, was quoted in April 2008 saying: "Everywhere I play, even now, people still yell, 'Bartman! Bartman!' I feel really bad for the kid," and "You know what the funny thing is? I wouldn't have caught it, anyway."

Nice piece of memorabilia that would look great in any collection or sports themed establishment.
