This pitching rubber was used on the main field at Shea Stadium for six games during a Mets homestand from August 7 – August 12, 2007. Over those six games, the Mets lost 2 of 3 games to the Atlanta Braves as well as 2 of 3 to the Florida Marlins. During that span, this pitching rubber was used by the likes of Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Tim Hudson, Joe Maine, Orlando Hernandez and Billy Wagner.
This item measures 6 inches x 6 inches x 24 inches and would make for a great addition to any Mets, Braves, Marlins or general baseball memorabilia collection.
