this bat was givin to me by albert himeself at his house in 2005 when nobody knew if he was going to play for the cardinals the next season. this bat is his original game bat but it never made it to the stadium from his house. seeing how i got it from him and not a dealer you could see why he wouldnt give me the papers saying its authintic. Unfortunitly it was in my house when it went up in flames and is one of 5 things that made it out. That is what the dark spots are that you see. i would try and clean it but i am afraid it might hurt it. Anyone that wants more pictures, thats fine, just send me your email address.
Here's a game used batting helmet that cannot be attributed to anyone although the buyer spent over $150.00 on it. The helmet was purchased on ebay by molly86. I'm not saying molly86 will be doing something fraudulent with this helmet, but it sure would be easy to create a Guillen, Baines or Ventura helmet.
"Up for auction ia a Green Bay Packers Paul Hornung Salesmans sample jersey. Originally acquired through an auction house in 1996 which was advertised in Sports Collectors Digest at the time. The auction house was North Shore auctions out of Chicago. The jersey is a Wilson size 46. The Dureen material is heavier than that of the Mitchell&Ness jerseys out there. The jersey itself is in mint condition. Never displayed. I have been told that the tagging is appropriate for the late sixties. But keep in mind that the Packers used Sand Knit/Medalist jersey's for their gamers through out the Sixties. I have sent pictures of the jersey to Wilson in efforts to find the true history behind this jersey but never received any answer back. Beautiful, unique display piece. Any questions or info. regarding this jersey please email." Thanks
