    Members,

I have been collecting A's game used jerseys on and off for 15 years and I have never seen a Reggie Jackson game used jersey for sale or auction from 1972 in any of the three A's colors, gold, green or white. I would love to have one from this year and I am always looking for any A's jerseys from 1972.

    Thanks,

    Mark

The Jay Bruce game used Dayton Dragons that came up "missing" last season.

I work at their home stadium and was accused of taking this and would like to clear my name.

I would love to find the outfit that the Houston Colts wore on the road when they were traveling. It consisted of a suit, boots, cowboy hat, and even toy guns. I do have the boots and hat for Dean Stone.

There are several Steve Carlton items I'd like to obtain. Most of them are his early Phillies items. However, I would be thrilled to find his fielding glove shown in this photo (which I'm imagining Rob Steinmetz might like to have, as well):

About 16 years ago the football jerseys worn by Kurt Russell and Robin Williams in "The Best of Times" were auctioned off. I couldnt afford the few hundred dollars at the time and have regretted losing out on these ever since. Someday they will resurface...I know it.

Two items top my list . . . (1) a pair of Mariners home pants worn by Griffey Jr. and (2) a Montreal Expos hat worn by Pete Rose with bet marks under the brim of the cap (auctioned by Grey Flannel in 1997).

My new holy grail is a 2000 Bobby M. Jones game used bat or any gamer during his tenure with the Mets. There are plenty of Bobby J. Jones bats but I've never come across a Bobby M.

As an avid Phillies collector, I had always dreamed of owning a 1980 Championship Ring. After 16 years of searching, I had an opportunity to purchase Tug McGraw's actual ring. It's my understanding that he had to pay off a huge debt, and used this as partial payment.

I also have Steve Carlton's and Von Hayes' 1983 N.L. Championship Rings.

Althoug it took me 16 years to find the McGraw, I'm hopeful it will take less time to find a Phillies 1993 N.L. Championship ring of a key player, i.e, Kruk, Daulton, Dykstra, Schilling, etc.

Great Thread!! I am trying to collect a bat from every player who played for the Red Sox since 1960 and I need 21 to complete the collection. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on the way you look at it) a few years before I started this quest in ernest, but while I was collecting Red Sox bats haphazardly, an Outfit called Centerfield auctioned off the Paul Hill collection and a number of the bats I need in the auction. So they are out there somewhere. My grail bats are Willie Tasby, Ken Poulsen, Carmen Fanzone, Roman Mejias, Felix Mantilla, George Smith, Luis Alvarado, Syd O'Brien and Bobby Heise. Household names for sure!

If you know of anyone with a large vintage bat collection please pass my email address on to them.

A Doug Collins Olympic jersey from 1972. It was stolen out of the Illinois State trophy case some 30 years ago.
