Thanks very much (I mean it) for the photos. My Layne has significant damage between the 2's. There are dark spots between the 2's in 2 of your photos. When I save photos to my windows vista I have trouble blowing them up. My jersey is 22 over 25. It was originally #25 converted to #22. #25 was Jim David who was about Laynes height and weight. But the Lions did this back then. I called Friday Maclems(equip manager) hous e prior to his death. It was confimed they changed numerals when necessary. The 2's appear equally soiled. I've even had them under a microscope. I will post better pics after I get the jersey out of its holder.
There is so much damage on my jersey someone just might know of a photo match. I have taken my jersey to the Lions reunion 1997 and the players all thought it was good. You can see the 2 on the right side is a little more rounded than the leftside 2 .
