I cant believe that someone would pay that much for a practice shirt! Hell my Steve Young and Jerry Rice practice shirts from 1994 with team letters were close to that! Oh well you win some and lose some. I hope you enjoy your 1125$ practice shirt

Here is the 1995 Rice with both 49ers and MOS COA.

It shows rubbing on the #s on both front and back and some wear on one of the shoulders. This was framed for years with his game used gloves and i am guessing thats how the auto faded although it was out of the sun and framed under UV protective glass. Strange.

I would prefer a trade for other 49ers gamers but if not then enjoy checking it out!

Always paying top $$$$ for quality 49ers gamers and will absolutely ANNIHILATE any other offer out there!!!!

My game worn lineman helmets: Though not NFL, one of my NAVY helmets (got from the Academy down the road here in Annapolis) and Raiders helmet (bought from JO Sports).

Look at this 97 Steve Young. I have 2. I decided to sell one a while back and sent it to a auction house. It was given to me by Kevin Greene who acquired it directly from Young after the Buc's game, the first 49er name Kevin played in. Kevin tagged the jersey with a piece of tape. I did not try to photo match it as I knew it was real and did not question it. This jersey was refuse by the authenicator due to the fact it had a number change. He said that would not happen with Young. I was stunned at this. So I took 5 minutes and went to Getty. Here is what I found, a exact photo match (72574059) to the number change. It told me that not much time was spent checking out the story on this jersey. You be the authenicator. Would you say OK?

What is interesting is that i have another Steve Young 1997 home shirt worn against the Saints with the exact same characteristics! It has the remnants of the 50th patch and a number change just like the shirt that Roger posted way back when (and which i now own). I wonder why the 49ers would recycle two 1996 shirts for Young to use in 1997? They also removed the 1996 tag from the tail and replaced it with a 1997. The one i have worn vs the Saints is also photo-matched so i know it is genuine. Strange. If anyone has any additional information about why they would do this please chime in.

Also if anyone has any idea of how to figure out the old # that was replaced please let me know. i have tried looking at it in the sun from all angles and using a small black light but no dice.

Great RICE. Have you ever noticed that the "8" on the back was sewn on upside down? Would probably make for an easy photomatch, and certainly adds to the jersey's character.

1994 Merton Hanks home non-throwback with team letter. I thought this shirt was a fake at first, as i could see the old outline of the 75th patch ABOVE the chest seam! It had been removed and sewn on below the seam like all of the 49er 1994 gamers. I looked at a William Floyd non-throwback i have from 1994 and same thing! The Floyd is photomatched with "Bronco tape" so it is genuine. i think the team first put the patches above the seam and thought they didnt look good and then moved them.

Brent Jones 1994 throwback with team letter worn in NFC Championship game

JJ Stokes rookie 1995 gamer worn vs Falcons where he caught Rice's ONLY TD pass of his career.
