    Game Used Collecting has got me doing crazy things...

    I can sometimes be found looking in craft stores for creative ideas to display game used items.

    I just had a shipment of four mannequin torsos arrive today. I was able to get four of them for $100 including shipping. I would say the shipping alone must of cost $100, as I received 8 huge boxes from UPS.
    I think they look great on there.

    I would be interested in seeing how anyone elses uses mannequins in there displays.

                              Not too late, I've just been too busy eating Turkey.

                              I contacted the person who has these to ask if he had anymore. He said he did. Some with the stands and some without.

                              I emailed everyone that left an email address with all the info.

                                              For mannequins and display cases, they are typically referred to as 'store fixtures'. If you pull out the trusty Yellow Book and look up store fixtures, you should find a handful of places that deal in new and used fixtures. For example, when tradeshows come into convention centers, most display cases (think of the jewelry store cases) are rented locally - and there are stores that sell them new and used.

                                              I purchased a clothing rack (called a 29 ball spiral) for my jerseys that is compact - new it was only $25.

                                              You will find just about of every kind of retail case, hangers, slatwall, and all the related accesories.

                                              On a funny note, when I went to get my jersey rack, it they also had an inetresting case that I thought would be perfect for signed hockey pucks - tuns out it was actually a doughnut case...
