    Re: December pick-ups

I picked this up at a show on Dec. 29th. I know it doesn't seem like much, but for a guy who collects what I collect, it's pretty cool. 1981 Jim Gantner with a lot of great marks and #17 written on knob and barrell end.

Not really game used items but I picked up a couple of Philadelphia related rings.

The ring on the right is from the 1976 All-Star game held in Philadelphia. It is an authentic Balfour Salesman Sample.

The ring on the left is a Eagles player ring made by Josten's.

    Hi Rob L.,

Hoping you are willing to supply answers to the two questions I posted for you in this thread regarding Angels items. Your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bill -

That is a cool piece. I was not kidding about the rarity. That is the first one I have ever seen. Thanks for the pics.

Is it a FUNGO bat? His career numbers are staggering as a player.

Picked up a few items this week. A Todd Cranne autographed Reading Phillies uniform (shirt & pants) with the Jackie Robinson patch intact. Jose Lind Santurce jersey from a fellow fourm member, 1964-69 era Tony Larussa GU bat pounded with use, Lance Parrish signed GU bat from 1988 and an Ozzie Guillen Gamer from 1983-86 era with Guillen in block letters on the barrel. Hammered with use and remains uncracked. Can't wait for January ! Happy New Year Everyone

    Thanks Jamie,

I will definately be at that signing...but I won't be bringing the jersey. I don't know why, but I just can't stomach getting these signed.

Maybe I'll see you at the signing.
