The other side of the Mitchell Report

A lot of focus has been on who items will be devalued from the Mitchell Report. However I think in certain circumstances the Mitchell Report will actually help the value of some players.

For instance I have a Dan Naulty game used jersey (had two but sold one to a friend). Ask baseball fans who Dan Naulty is and most won't have a clue. I contend that being named on the Mitchell Report connects Naulty with something much larger than his baseball career, with a part of baseball history.

Then to top that off this story with run in the local paper.

Minnesota Star Tribune Opinion columnists, editorials, guest commentary, editorial cartoons and letters to the editor on the issues of the day.

Not that I am too worried about it though. The jersey holds it's value for other reasons.

Am I off base in this assertion? It just seems like the Mitchell Report will hurt the star player's prices but could help the no name player's prices.
Wanted: Minnesota Twins throwback or special event jerseys.
