I thought there was another thread, but Rawlings uses the word BLACKHORSE, where:

B = 1
L = 2
A = 3
C = 4
K = 5
H = 6
O = 7
R = 8
S = 9
E = 0

So, BBEH would be 11/06, or made in November 2006.
