it's actually a pretty strange color. under bright light, it can appear an almost golden brown. in darker light it looks black. check out the pic of it on the coa


its actually made it very difficult to photomatch. if you look at pictures from his no hitter, occassionally his glove looks black and sometimes brown.

i was hoping the glove codes would give me a silver bullet on the year but they seem absent

jwasserman i looked at the getty pics of him on the Yankees I didnt see any that matched the color of your glove but here is some pics i found off of getty I am sure you saw these already, but just pointing out at least you know he was a Rawlings guy lol
