The Josh Hamilton bat I got today from the Rangers has a MLB Authentication hologram on it.. I just checked the serial # and it shows in the MLB database that my bat was used May 16th, 2008 versus the Astros and that day Hamilton went 5 for 5 with a walk and a RBI. Now that is awesome and clearly shows some value in the MLB Database when they use it correctly!!!!!

I also got to see the Team USA softball Olympic team here in Fort Worth, I picked up a Team Signed helmet and then Jennie Finch signed a Breast Cancer awareness jersey for my wife.

I got the Gant jersey through ebay. It was actually back in April; I have just gotten around to going through my things to get organized, so I posted it under the June pick-ups. The seller was a collector of #5 jerseys and had had it for 10 or so years. Happy to talk more if you want: thomaskirk@cinci.rr.com

I too bought a jersey from the "number 5" guy -- it was a 1974 Mets road jersey, and it is beautiful. Did he ever tell you why he was selling off his collection? He had some pretty nice items.

Picked this up in the M's auction. M's wore a special "Marineros" uniform to honor the past great Latin American players, Jeremy Reed hit a homerun in the 8th off Lopez wearing this jersey. The Ms actually won this one (M's 5 vs. Detroit 0).
I'am picking up from Raul Ibanez Wednesday night a personalized game used 1977 TBTC jersey Wednesday night, I will post images later with why I get it personalized (clue: it has to do with him and CFF).
