Mo Cheeks with the older style zero on his jersey

Not sure what happened to Harold Hubbard's #34 on the front of his jersey. Running out of twill, I guess.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 1982-1983 Philadelphia 76ers
    Look at the 2s, 3s and 4s.

    Eric,

Here's an example from Super Bowl 7. Some of the Dolphins used Sand Knit jerseys with sleeve stripes and other, like Griese and Czonka, used Wilson jerseys with no sleeve stripes.

    Eric,

Great topic... I have a pretty nice collection of older NFL games, and can't count the number of uniform inconsistencies I see on the field. One team in particular is the Houston Oilers of the late 1970s (players wore jerseys with two totally different number AND letter fonts).

I may start keeping a closer eye on the matter as a watch, and take screen shots of any inconsistencies I see. Believe me, there are quite a few.

    When Uniforms Aren't Uniform

Saw a couple of photos of my beloved chargers that had the same inconsistency in the uniform.

In this first pic, the right shoulder bolts are going "in" on #42 and "out" on #77

I remember there were some 76ers pics with different fonts in the same shot. Any others like that? Post 'em here...
