The Bench and Rose bats have pre HB (1979) ovals but only geninue over the players names. These bats are show bats made for autographs.

I think you meant to say "post" HB ovals; labeling period appears to be 1983-1985 (although I agree that they are retail/show bats)

Do you know what the p&f stood for??? my other thought was that it was used by something else such as a college team, I feel like the flair end wouldn't have been a likley choice in a store??

Adirondack never used F on game used bats also they never had the P302 during the 1970's.
