How many bats do you think had that same type dark mark down the center of the bat. Granted that the grain on my bat on the left is darker because its not under staduim lighting. That grain is crazy...what do you think?

To me, they look darn close to being the same bat.

Yes, I'm taking VERY good care of the Taveras jersey . It's definitely a keeper for me since I finally found a photomatched picture with some of the blood stains visible. But, as for this bat, I do think it's a photomatch. Grain is such an unexpected thing when it comes to bats, and they come in all different sorts of ways, and to have all those matches in the pic, I'd definitely call this a photomatch.

If history/provenance backs it up, I would vote/guess that they are the same bat. All parts of the bats match up with each other, top to bottom.
