Shrink Wrap?

Guys- Do you think it would hurt a game used bat at all to shrink wrap it? Or would it possibly do some damage? Or maybe help protect it?

Any thoughts?

Unless you're trying to sneak it in or out of a prison why the shrink wrap?

Basically to protect from dust and such until I can pick up a display for it.

you should get to your local hobby shop or hop on that intraweb thingy and go to ebay to find a uv protected bat tube. I pick mine up for about $5.50 on ebay because there is no shop in town that carries them, this is the best cheapest way to preserve a bat that i've found, until you get the display you want.
