Re: What is your #1 favorite thing in your entire collection?
The kid that has posted on here before listed his photomatched signed gamer on ebay with a sosa. But 3k is way too much if thats the bat you are talking about. i dont even care if its photomatched. McGwire signed Gamers even 98 dont command that much money unless it was 100% used to hit a HRComment

Re: What is your #1 favorite thing in your entire collection?
I think he paid like $1900 plus auction fees for that bat in the spring, and I think he got the 98 Sosa from Ball Park Heroes off ebay for $395. Im not sure if he is saying the Sosa is a photo match or a style match. IF I had to take a guess the 98 Mcgwire is worth about $2500. I picked up a signed 2000 with better use than the 98 for $1100. My 2000 also came with a Cardinals Care COA and it is cracked. That 98 is a very nice bat though! I would like to see better photos of the barrel and see what kind of seam marks it has.Comment

Alright. i went ahead and took pictures of my McGwire 2000 signed cracked gamer. Here is the barrell with the seam marks that i had no idea existed until Bob just told me about. Look at the pounding on this bat. I almost shat myself when i saw it in the light.. and below i posted pics of the new Longoria signed gamer i got the other day. The seem marks are nutz on that one also.

Re: What is your #1 favorite thing in your entire collection?
If anyone ever wants to sell a Cardinals Mac SIGNED bat, pounded like I keep seeing in these images, please contact skyking442@hotmail.com, regardless of when that may be. I was given some info from a kind collector today that ballpark heroes has a 98, but the bat looks game ready like so many that were likely given out by McGwire as gifts that year. At $1495, I'll pass on a bat with limited use like that one...

Originally posted by AWA85Tony, not really sure what year exactly. It was a gift from the parents when I graduated undergrad. Seems to have a little red tint in the tape, so I would guess from his Reds years.
