My game used Super Bowl XXXVII Tampa Bay Bucs RB #32 Michael Pittman helmet arrived from the Hunt's recent Super Bowl Auction. The pictures do not show accurately the wear and tear but it is awesome. He rushed 29 times for 124 yards, I have photo matched to game images on Getty. Really pleased - enjoy!

Hunt's was excellent to work with...answered all questions and sent additional information re the helmet.

I'm looking for a chin strap for a helmet I own...

Can someone lead me to where I can purchase this chin strap:

That looks to be a Riddell hard cup, large cup, with mid/high hookup straps.

But... I believe the Bears have an orange Riddell logo with a dk blue outline on their straps? Anything other than the red Riddell logo is a special order through Riddell, and you may have to order them in bulk. I'd give them a call to start.

The Broncos suspension with the old school, Riddell font on the sweatband is nice but the Saints 'husky' helmet with the gorgeous, 60's style OPO mask is absolutely stunning!

Just picked up a Gary Dunn helmet with a shell date of 1979. The helmet is HAMMERED with wear. I had to replace the helmet clips because the original clips were rotted. The original owner had the Steelers logo signed by LC Greenwood when LC attended a golf tournament in Florida.

1) On the left 2006 Greg Spires game used Revolution helmet

2) On the right - Darian Barnes 2002 game used helmet, worn in 2002 NFC title game, NFC divisional game vs. 49ers and in SUPER BOWL XXXVII vs. Oakland Raiders

sjsinohio - is that Eagles Gladiator kind of a slightly metallic green? I only remember them having that color for the first two seasons of the green/grey pants look so that would be 1974/75. It seems like they started going back to regular kelly green in '76 when Vermeil became their head coach and they also had a lot of players switch over to the MaxPro helmets (at least I think it was MaxPro by '76 but they might have still been Marietta for that season).

Thanks for the info, abstractheory. I guess they kept those old PAC-3 helmets around for quite some time. The helmet is actually dated 1978 so I should have described the helmet as a late 1970's vs. mid 1970's. It didn't have a facemask on it when I got it so I put on one that fit the existing drill holes. I should put a white facemask on it.
